The Center both conducts and supports research projects
covering all aspects of heritage. Center research projects
include initiatives by Center faculty as well as those involving
affiliates and partners. The research interests of the principal
Center members range from archaeological research to cultural landscapes
to socio-cultural community investigations and tourism. These
projects involve a wide range of disciplines, including cultural
anthropology, archaeology, historic preservation, community development,
environmental sciences, and others.
The Center conducts grant- and contract-funded research, supports
research endeavors for other faculty and graduate students, and
provides limited funding in the form of seed grants for Center-related
projects. |
